Cork Racecourse Mallow will host the ‘Racing Home for Easter Festival’ this weekend. With top-class racing, family entertainment and that famous festival atmosphere from Saturday 04 April to Bank Holiday Monday 06 April inclusive.  This highlight of the sports and social calendar in Cork promises an action-packed weekend for racegoers of all ages to enjoy, jam-packed with competitive horse-racing with great food, live music and free family friendly activities on the line up.  

The inaugural raceday for Down Syndrome Centre Cork takes place on Saturday and the highly anticipated fundraiser is sure to open the festival in style as the community rallies behind the centre, its end users and their families. Inspired by Danny Duane (4) from Doneraile, Cork Racecourse has pledged 100% of general admission proceeds to the charity. There will be a competitive flat card complemented by a family friendly entertainment schedule off the track including live music, arts n’ crafts, the Easter Bunny, face painting and an animal petting farm in situ free gratis on the day. 

Easter Sunday at Cork Racecourse is a long-standing tradition for many to go racing to Mallow with top class jump racing in store. The marquee will be lively with a DJ throughout the day and after racing Andy Foley will take to the stage in the top floor bar to ensure the party continues until late. 

Bank Holiday Monday is Mega Family Fun Day at the racecourse with complimentary children’s attractions and entertainment including a petting farm, face painting, characters, magic shows, puppet shows and more for children of all ages to enjoy. Every raceday at Cork Racecourse Mallow children under 14 go racing free so everyone can enjoy a wholesome good value family day out together.  
Adult tickets are available online and on the gate from €20. There are a variety of public food outlets, bars and coffee docks available at the track, with something for all tastes on the menu. Should you choose to leave the car at home, a courtesy shuttle service is available from Mallow Town Centre and Mallow Train Station to and from the racecourse throughout the day.
