DESCRIPTION:NATIONAL HUNT racing will return on Sunday 12th October\, for the Co-Op Superstores Raceday. The feature race is the Co-Op Superstores Handicap Chase which runs over 2 miles 1 furlong approx. First of a seven race jumps card is due to go to post at 13:10\, with the last race due off at 17:10. Gates open an hour and half before the first race. \nThere will be live music by Andrew Foley after the last for an hour and half.  \nThis is a hugely popular day as the National Hunt season kicks into action here at Cork Racecourse Mallow.  \nWe’ve got Super Saver Social Packages available starting at just €30 which includes admission to the races\, racecard\, a pint\, a €5 Food Voucher and a €5 Tote bet !  \nFor the more formal afternoon you can reserve a table in our restaurant . Your table will be guaranteed for the afternoon so you can enjoy a superb dining experience courtesy of our on-site caterers Woodlands Catering. From €75 per person.  \nTo take the stress out of your evening we have a free shuttle bus running from Mallow town and Train Station to and from the racecourse before and after racing.
