How do I get to Cork Racecourse Mallow? Cork Racecourse Mallow runs a free shuttle bus service to and from Mallow train station and Mallow Town to all race meetings. What time should I arrive? It is advisable to arrive at least one hour before the advertised time of the first race. Gates open approximately two hours before the first race of each day.
When is Ladies Day? Ladies day is Traditionally on Easter Sunday during our 3 day Easter Festival. There may be other Ladies Day’s/ Best dressed Gentleman throughout the year, we also run lots of competitions on our race card, please keep in touch with our web site for more information.
What are the dates for the Easter Festival 2010? The dates for the Easter Festival 2010 are Saturday 3rd April, through to Monday 5th April.
What facilities are there for the disabled? Our facilities here at Cork Racecourse Mallow are totally disabled friendly, all areas are accessible.
Do I need to pre-book an adult admission ticket? No. Admission can be paid on the day at the ticket counter..If you require a premium level ticket which gives you access to the top floor of the Grand Stand/ Pavilion Stand then this must be pre booked.
Is there a discount for students and O.A.P.'s ? All O.A.P.’s and students are admitted at the discounted rate with proof of a current ID at the ticket counter.
Is there a charge for children? Children under 14 accompanied by an Adult are admitted free .We sell a family ticket at a reduced rate for 2 adults and children under 14, please ask at the counter.
Is there an on-site bank? There is no cash machine on site, if you need cash please bring it with you.
Can you buy the racing post on site? No you cannot, if you need it please bring it with you, you can purchase a race card for €3.00.
Is there medical staff at the Cork Racecourse Mallow? Doctors, nurses and Order of Malta personnel will be in attendance throughout the Races and are happy to help assist with any medical needs. Where can I place a bet at Cork Racecourse Mallow? There are numerous places throughout the enclosure where you can place a bet. Tote facilities are available in the main tote building, on all levels of the Grand Stand/Pavilion Stand. You will find details of how to place a bet in your race card. There is also a bookmaker's ring, situated between the Grand Stand and the Pavilion Stand, Paddy Power Book makers are also located in the ground floor of the Pavilion Stand.

Activities for Children? Cork Racecourse Mallow tries to provide free activities for children at all race meetings. There is normally a free bouncy castle and face painting on site which adds to the experience of a family day out.
